Our project is based on solving the problem of a decreasing population and inactivity by showing an attractive offer to young families to start a life there. Due to inactivity among young locals, we decided to create a community, that might stimulate life from a social, economic and cultural perspective. The members of the community are at the beginning of their life as adults, who are in search of a job and an affordable style of life. The community is made up of seven houses available to rent, each of them being composed of container modules that can be easily moved and reorganized following the needs of new families to create new social spaces or to extend existing personal functions. To sum up, we’ve created a dynamic community with two purposes: to create a space of transition for young families who are about to become adults and to help their integration in the city. The movement of the bridge follows a longitudinal trajectory between the common building (boarding the lot at Episcopiei Street) and the houses. When one of these modules is attached to a house, it is used by the renter to develop his/her activities in his/her garden, next to the house. After finishing the project, the modules are moved to the common building, which has two functions: first, there is a HUB (a space for workshop and meeting) at the ground floor, opened both for community members and other people, serving the purpose of gathering and improving social relationships; second, at the first floor, there is a coffee shop opened for anyone who wants to discuss their ideas over a cup of coffee. Besides, the first and second floors were designed as a giant shelf displaying products from community members. These “products” are the mobile container modules that can be stored on each shelf and opened for the public. Each member of the community can exhibit his/her project while the container
